We are an innovative firm carrying a wide array of custom residential design experience. Over the years, my colleagues and I have designed many custom homes along the coastal region of South Carolina. We are very excited about the prospect of helping families create new homes and we are conscious of the importance placed on each and every residence.

Before pen ever touches paper, our fist step in the design process is to orient ourselves with your home site. Here we will study the micro climate by conducting a "site analysis". We take into careful consideration the orientation to views, location of neighboring homes, location of trees, sun angles, and wind directions.            We take pride in the fact that we do not limit ourselves to one particular design style. "Listening to our clients goals and determining their needs and programs are the most important part of this evolutionary process". It is a constant to massage and refine the design into a final product that in the end reflects our clients' personality, as well as compliment the natural environment in which we live.

Tim Hilkhuijsen, a registered architect who holds his license in the state of Colorado, including Washington DC, is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has many years of valuable experience in the design of high-end custom residential structures providing design and construction drawings and services to residential and multi family clientel. He has valuable experience in design, construction documentation, writing of contracts and specifications, construction observation, sales, marketing and public relations. He also has a strong understanding in the technical field of residential design. During his professional tenure, he has designed a wide array of custom homes in and around the Low Country market which include the islands of Daniel, Kiawah, Seabrook, Edisto, Dewees, Spring, and Dataw. He has also designed homes in the states of Colorado, Utah, Missouri, Texas and North Carolina. Traveling and having lived on many continents around the world has played a monumental role in attention to detail.
